I've seen a couple of other events at other places, but this was my first time in here. It was amazing! Great venue, it's smaller than those bigger places but it is still a fair sized venue. Food at party halls in Boston MA was great and I think it's recently renovated - it didn't seem old or anything.
The book Punk Women is near absolute crap. Written by an armchair intellectual who wears wraparound sunnies and thinks he is punk, he has not included Deborah Harry, Siouxsie Sioux, Wendy O'Williams and most criminal of all NONE of any of L7.
Donita Sparks has had a solo album, You Tube show during Crockdown and in the Lou Man Group. L7 absolutely wipe out ANY all female band of the last 50 years and rock out more than all...including Joan Jett, Patti Smith and Kathleen Hanna.
Punk Women is read not worth your time.
